Girona sign Real Madrid midfielder for 100 euros

Spanish Segunda side Girona have announced the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Tebar for the fee of 100 euros.

The 24-year-old, who spent last 12 years at Santiago Bernabeu signed a three-year deal with Girona, although Real have the option of retrieving the player during the first two years.

Tebar was one of the players Jose Mourinho called for club’s mini US tour but he was deemed surplus to requirements and allowed to move clubs.

Marcos Tebar made his professional debut for Real two years ago but with so many new signings every season he failed to make his presence known at Santiago Bernabeu and will now try to get his career back on track at Girona.
