Giroud and Inter agree terms

It looks like we know where will Olivier Giroud play next. After a lot of rumours, talks and guesses, the French striker is close to arranging a move to Italy. Chelsea forward will most probably join Inter Milan, as his agent and the Italian club reached an agreement on personal terms.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the expert on transfer market dealings, Giroud is ready to join Inter as he agreed terms on a contract until June 2022. Romano even posted a photo on his Twitter profile to show the image of Giroud’s agent in Milano after a meeting.

However, these are just the terms between Serie A outfit and the player. Romano insists that the talks between Chelsea and Inter are still ongoing and that no agreement has been yet reached between the clubs. This would be another move from Antonio Conte for a Premier League player, after signing Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez last summer.
