Giroud heading to AC Milan

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Olivier Giroud is set to choose AC Milan upon the expiry of his current deal with Chelsea.

There has been an awful lot of speculation surrounding the Frenchman’s future with many wondering whether or not he’d stay in England or head off abroad. Now, it appears as if he’s made Italy his priority with Milan winning his attention.

Giroud is often considered to be one of the most underrated forwards of his generation and while some feel as if he’s past his best, others believe he just needs to be given an extended run in a team that can provide him with great service.

He’s been a top striker for both Arsenal and Chelsea over the years and while he may be entering the final few years of his time at the elite level, he’s still a real danger for defences across the continent.
