Olivier Giroud is keen to fight for his Chelsea future amid interest from Marseille, according to the Mail Online.
The France international moved to Stamford Bridge in January after five-and-a-half years with Arsenal where he scored over a hundred goals in two hundred and fifty-three appearances and won three FA Cups.
He played eighteen times for the Blues last term, scoring five goals before heading off to the World Cup finals.
The thirty-one-year-old played in all seven of his country’s matches in Russia, a run which ended with victory over Croatia in the final though he didn’t score a goal at the tournament.
He started less than half of the league games he played in for Chelsea last term and his opportunities at the London outfit could be limited even further should Gonzalo Higuain secure his proposed move from Juventus.
Fellow forward Alvaro Morata has also been linked with a move away this summer though he now looks set to stay.
