Lyon are the latest side to be linked with a move for Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud, according to the Independent.
The thirty year old’s future has been the subject of much speculation with the Gunners linked with moves for fellow France internationals Alexandre Lacazette and Kylian Mbappe.
West Ham United are keeping an eye on the situation, though Lyon are ready to give the striker an opportunity to return to his home country.
Giroud moved to the Emirates Stadium from Montpellier five years ago, and since has racked up two hundred and twenty-eight appearances in all competitions, scoring ninety-eight goals.
He has been part of the squads that have won the FA Cup in three of the past four seasons while he helped France to the final of last summer’s European Championships.
In sixty-four appearances for his country, he has scored twenty-seven times with four of those goals coming in his last three outings.
