Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has no intention of returning to French Ligue 1, Le 10 Sport has suggested.
The France international was recently mentioned as a target for free-spending Marseille, but the French magazine claims there is no truth in the speculation.
While l’OM haven’t made any contact with either Arsenal or Giroud’s representatives, the player himself doesn’t want to return to Ligue 1.
Even though he has been struggling for first team opportunities at the Emirates, the 30-year-old has no plans to change clubs in the summer.
And when he does decide to leave Arsenal, Giroud aims to explore the possibility of moving either to MLS or China.
Despite starting just 6 Premier League games this season, the Frenchman already has 8 league goals to his name, which is an excellent return when we take into account that he has played just over 650 minutes of Premiership football.
