Giroud pens new Arsenal deal

Oliver Giroud has signed a new signed a new two-and-a-half year deal at Arsenal, according to the Mail Online.

The thirty year old is in fine form, having scored in each of his last four appearances taking his tally to nine in nineteen games.

There are also new deals for fellow Frenchmen Laurent Koscielny and Francis Coquelin, who have committed themselves to the Gunners until 2020 and 2021 respectively.

However the North London outfit are yet to conclude negotiations with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, with the former insisting that manager Arsene Wenger’s future at the Emirates Stadium is resolved.

Having come from behind to beat Championship side Preston North End in the third round of the FA Cup last weekend, Wenger’s side return to league action with a trip to Swansea City and they can be backed at a price of 1/2 to take all three points.
