Borussia M’gladbach aim to offer around €15m for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Christoph Kramer, according to Bild.
Die Fohlen signed the talented footballer on a two-year loan from their Bundesliga rivals a year ago, but they now hope to tie down the 23-year-old to a long-term contract.
German daily newspaper Bild has suggested that Borussia plan to offer €15 million in an attempt to turn the player’s loan deal into permanent move.
Christoph Kramer has made quite a journey since joining die Fohlen last summer, having won the 2014 World Cup with Germany, starting the final clash before he was forced to leave the pitch due to concussion.
An impressive performance in midweek’s friendly against Argentina is enough to suggest he is slowly becoming an important player in the national team, while his price continues to rise.
And even though Kramer is now on the radar of Europe’s top clubs, Borussia M’gladbach are prepared to go the extra mile to try and sign him on permanent basis.
