Borussia M’gladbach are reportedly set to complete the deal for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jonas Hofmann, Bild can reveal.
Die Fohlen have found it hard to cope with a serious injury crisis, with no fewer than five important players struggling through various problems.
As a result, they have decided to recruit an attacking midfielder in the January window and they appear to have already found their man.
According to Bild, Borussia M’gladbach have all but reached an agreement with Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund over talented footballer Jonas Hofmann.
An €8 million transfer fee seems to have already been agreed as the player is reportedly undergoing medical tests in Monchengladbach at the moment.
Jonas Hofmann, 23, joined the Millionaires from Hoffenheim in the summer of 2011 and has since made 48 Bundesliga appearances.
The interesting thing is that the two Borussias will square off at Borussia-Park when the Bundesliga campaign resumes, with Dortmund made 8/11 favourites to claim maximum points.
