Gladbach stopper on Milan radar

AC Milan are showing interest in Borussia M’gladbach defender Tony Jantschke, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The Rossoneri are still on the lookout for defensive reinforcements and they believe the German footballer would be a good partner for Brazilian Alex.

Borussia M’gladbach are believed to be asking for €8 million for their star player, while Milan plan to offer around €6 million.

Tony Jantschke, 24, joined die Fohlen as a 16-year-old and has so far made 124 Bundesliga appearances for the club, scoring 4 goals.

He has represented Germany at various youth levels and it is only a matter of time he is handed a senior debut.

Jantschke has been an important member of the Borussia side that conceded mere 5 goals in 10 Bundesliga fixtures, climbing to third in the league standings.

As things stand now, the club have a very good chance of clinching Champions League qualification and they are 11/10 to achieve a top 4 finish.
