Bundesliga high flyers Borussia M’gladbach are weighing up summer move on Hoffenheim forward Kevin Volland, Bild can reveal.
Die Fohlen will have money to spend having all but secured a place in the Champions League group stages, and replacing Wolfsburg-bound Max Kruse is clearly the number one priority.
And while Borussia were linked with Werder star Franco Di Santo, the latest reports suggest that coach Lucien Favre prefers Hoffenheim’s Kevin Volland.
The Swiss tactician wants someone who can create chances for his teammates in addition to finishing off attacks and this is the main reason he is keen on the Germany starlet.
Even if Volland is currently valued at €20 million, the release clause in his contract means he can be signed for €15m in the summer.
Kevin Volland, 22, has managed 8 goals and 7 assists in 30 Bundesliga outings this term, while earning three Germany caps and playing in a Euro 2016 qualifier against Gibraltar.
