England defender Glen Johnson appears ready to call time on his Liverpool career, according to Daily Express.
The experienced full-back will be out of contract in the summer and he has been disappointed by the club’s decision not to offer him a new deal yet.
And having also lost his place in the starting line-up to loanee Javi Manquillo, the 30-year-old is ready to consider his options, with several Serie A clubs reportedly keen on his services.
Glen Johnson came through the youth ranks at West Ham, but left the Hammers for rivals Chelsea after making just 15 league appearances.
The full-back was never given a real chance to impress at Stamford Bridge and he moved to Liverpool in 2009 via Portsmouth.
Johnson has since featured in 144 Premier League matches for the Reds, scoring 7 goals in the process, while he currently has 54 England caps to his name.
