PSV goalkeeper Heurelho Gómes is on bad terms with club chairman Jan Reker. This was revealed by the Brazilian this week.
On Wednesday, football magazine ‘Voetbal International’ is to publish an interview with Gómes, in which he supposedly says more about this situation.
Reportedly, Gómes disagrees severely with several of Reker’s decisions in the past and feels that he has been treated inappropriately when having to wait too long for a contract extension earlier this year.
The keeper also states that he disagrees with the little playing time one of PSV’s midfielders, Ibrahim Aissati, has been given this season.
Gómes insists that either Reker leaves, or he does.
It isn’t unlikely that the situation has to do with the interest Gómes has been receiving from teams abroad, such as Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs manager Juande Ramos claimed to be very impressed by Gómes during their UEFA Cup round of sixteen matches with PSV in March.
Gómes’ contract currently ties him to PSV until the summer of 2013.
