Godfrey linked with Manchester United switch

Manchester United are eyeing a £10m move for Norwich City full-back Ben Godfrey, according to the Mail Online.

The twenty-one-year old has been one of many stand-out performers for the Championship leaders this season, and his form has caught the eye of Red Devils’ scouts, with a summer move mooted.

Having spent last season on loan at Shrewsbury Town, Godfrey has broken into Daniel Farke’s side this term, and he has played twenty-three times in the league, scoring three goals.

The last of those strikes came as the Canaries beat Rotherham United last time out – their sixth victory in succession.

That win over the Millers saw the Norfolk side open-up a four-point lead over second place Sheffield United, with Leeds United slipping to third.

Next up for Norwich is a trip to fellow promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough, and the away win can be backed at a price of 6/4.
