Tottenham have confirmed goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes will spend the rest of the season on loan at Bundesliga club Hoffenheim.
The Brazilian international has made 136 appearances for the club since joining from PSV Eindhoven for 8.5 million pounds in 2008.
But Gomes has fallen behind Hugo Lloris and Brad Friedel in the pecking order at White Hart Lane.
He will now move to the Bundesliga in search of first-team football, where he will join the club with the worst defensive record in the division and who sit second bottom in the league.
The 11-time Brazil international will compete with former German international Tim Wiese for the number one jersey.
