Bayern Munich forward Mario Gomez is unhappy at finding himself out of the first team, according to his agent Uli Ferber.
Coach Jupp Heynckes has opted to use the Germany international sparingly this season, preferring to go with Mario Mandzukic.
“Naturally, Mario is not happy about his situation,” Ferber told Bild.
“It’s also clear that it can’t stay this way. He is behaving well, is loyal and always ready. If the coach puts him on, he has earned it.
“Still, Mario’s desire was and always is there. During his time at Stuttgart, before his move to Bayern, when he signed a contract extension recently and of course now.
“Mario would like to contribute to Bayern by playing a great season.”
Gomez staked his claim for a regular place in the Bayern team by scoring his side’s second goal in their 4-0 win over Nuremberg on Saturday.
