Dundee United ace Morgaro Gomis has admitted that he his dream is to play in Spain, but insists he is happy at Tannadice for the time being.
The Frenchman joined Dundee United from Cowdenbeath in the summer of 2006.
“I’m delighted to sign again. I didn’t think twice about it,” Gomis told the Daily Record.
“I’ve seen the rumours about other clubs but at the moment I’m not interested.
“Dundee United is the place for me because I’m playing in the first team, learning my trade and becoming a better player.
“The club is also going places, we’ve got a young squad and we want to achieve something together.
“I have ambition, I’d love to play at the highest level and for me that would be for a big team in Spain.
“The Premiership is probably the best league in the world but I like Spanish football and I think it would suit my style of play.
“I’m confident that one day I could play at that level. But I’m only 23 so there’s time for that and I’m aware that to achieve my goals I have to keep improving.”
