According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Anthony Gordon will not be leaving Everton before the end of the window.
The club themselves haven’t been entertaining the idea of selling the 21-year-old throughout the course of the summer, despite two strong bids from Chelsea which were both knocked back.
Gordon has made it his mission to prove himself in recent weeks and that’s exactly what he’s done, managing to get on the scoresheet in both of his most recent outings against Leeds and Brentford.
The youngster is just starting to find his feet and come into his own and regardless of how much money is thrown at the Toffees by the Blues, you’d have to think Frank Lampard will have a thing or two to say before his former club tries to pinch him before the deadline.
Gordon has potential, and he could realise it in a big way between now and May.
