Grabban set for Cardiff switch

Bournemouth have accepted a bid of £3m from Cardiff City for striker Lewis Grabban, according to the Mail Online.

The 26 year old was fourth in the list of top scorers in the Championship during the 2013/14 campaign with 22 goals in 44 appearances while he was also part of the squad that gained promotion to the second tier the previous season.

Cardiff will now hold personal talks with the former Brentford, Millwall and Rotherham United man after meeting his release clause, and he is set to become the clubs second signing this summer after agreeing a deal for Real Valladolid’s Javi Guerra.

The Bluebirds finished bottom of the table after just one season back in the top flight, picking up just thirty points from their thirty-eight games.

They are among the favourites to win promotion under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer next season, behind only Norwich City in the league winners market.
