Graham set for Brentford switch

Sunderland’s out-of-favour striker Danny Graham is set for a loan move to Championship side Brentford, according to the Mirror.

The 29 year old moved to the Stadium of Light in the January of 2013, and is yet to score for the club though he spent last season out on loan, first with Hull City and then back at Middlesbrough – the side where he began his professional career.

His only football so far this season came as a substitute in the final two minutes of the Black Cats’ 2-1 defeat to Stoke City in the third round of the Capital One Cup a month ago.

He is set to join a Brentford side who sit twelfth in the second-tier, just three points off a play-off place with thirteen games played.

They welcome another of Graham’s former clubs, league leaders Derby County to Griffin Park on Saturday afternoon, and can be backed at 11/5 to take all three points.
