Esteban Granero’s management say the midfielder will not be leaving Real Madrid for Liverpool during the January transfer window.
The former Getafe star has been struggling to secure regular first team action this term, and has attracted the interest of both Malaga and Liverpool.
Nevertheless, the 24-year-old is committed to Real Madrid and is determined to fight for his chance at the Bernabeu.
“Granero is going to continue with Real Madrid, 100 percent,” his management stated to The IBTimes UK Sport.
“He played 65 minutes in the last match in the Bernabeu against Athletic Bilbao and maybe the coach is going to consider him more for the future.”
The versatile midfielder has a contract with Real Madrid until June, 2013.
