Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka has been the subject of intense speculation during winter linking him with a move to the Premier League.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool were joined by Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in pursuit of the M’Gladbach star, who has once again expressed his desire to make a move to the Premier League.
In an exclusive interview with the Swiss daily media outlet Blick, the Switzerland international has reiterated his desire to make a Premier League move explaining that England was ‘his dream’.
Xhaka claims that money does not play any part in his decision making and that he is willing to ait for the ‘big challenge’.
“England is my dream. I have never hid that. For me money is not important. I do not come from a money-hungry family, but from one with firm character. If I make a change it is important that I make a step forward in the sport,” Xhaka was quoted in his interview.
Granit Xhaka has signed for Borussia Monchengladbach in 2012 from Basel and has become a mainstay in the Bundesliga outfit since then.
Swiss midfielder has this season made 15 league appearances, scoring three goals in the process.
