Swiss media outlet Blick is reporting that Bayern Munich are among clubs showing interest in Borussia M’gladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka.
The Switzerland hotshot had a slow start to his career in German Bundesliga, but he has finally started proving his worth.
Xhaka has been earning rave reviews for his performances this season, helping die Fohlen secure a place in the Champions League group stages.
Spanish giants Atletico Madrid were the first high-profile side to take notice, but Blick claims that Bayern Munich are keen as well.
The Bavarians are expected to shake up the playing squad after what has been a largely disappointing season and they could step up their interest in Xhaka.
The 22-year-old has scored 2 goals in 30 league starts for Borussia M’gladbach this season, while he has earned exactly 11 yellow cards in each of the last two Bundesliga campaigns.
Despite his fragile age, Xhaka already has 35 Switzerland caps and he started all four matches at the 2014 World Cup.
