Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka was replaced by Bukayo Saka on the hour-mark of their 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace at the Emirates on Sunday, and some of the supporters actually cheered when their captain was announced as the player to leave the pitch. They booed and whistled at him, prompting an angry reaction and some bad words from the Swiss international.
Arsenal fans were wrong for booing him off. Xhaka was wrong for reacting in the way he did. Everyone was wrong, simple.
