Greek Cup: AEK win, Olympiakos draw with Asteras

AEK Athens are close to a spot in the final of the Greek Cup following a 3-1 win over Panserraikos on Wednesday. In the other semi final, Olympiakos and Asteras Tripolis drew 2-2.

After 19 minutes at AEK versus Panserraikos, Rafik Djebbour gave the home side a 1-0 lead. Marco Aurelio soon equalised but Daniel Majstorovic made it 2-1 in minute 38.

The third and final goal came two minutes later and was scored by Djebbour.

Olympiakos struggled to a 2-2 draw at Asteras, after conceding two first-half goals from Lucio Filomeno.

Diogo got one back in the 42nd minute and levelled in the 73rd. The Athens outfit and current league leaders do now have an away goal advantage.

The return legs are scheduled to be played on April 18th.
