Olympiakos needed extra time to beat PAOK Saloniki and advance to the semi finals of the Greek Cup. Panathinaikos were knocked out by Panserraikos.

PAOK beat Olympiakos 1-0 at home but the Athens outfit achieved the same result in the return leg, with Diogo scoring the only goal in regular time.

The winning goal came in the 20th minute of extra time, and was scored by new signing Matt Derbyshire.

Panathinaikos lost 2-3 to Panserraikos after a goalless result in the first leg. Baykara, Ceh (2) scored for the away side, and Christodopoulos and Palazoglou (own goal) weren’t enough for ‘Pana’ to survive.

Asteras Tripolis beat Panionios 1-0 after doing exactly the same in the first leg. Adrian Bastia scored the only goal on 35 minutes.

AEK Athens had already secured access to the semi finals, beating AO Xanthi on away goals last month.
