Former Sheffield United chief executive Charles Green has agreed a takeover of Scottish Premier League side Rangers.
The 59-year old will outline his plans on Sunday with the deal set to be announced at the club’s training base at Murray Park.
It is believed Green wants to form a company voluntary arrangement (CVA) and has backing from Singapore businessmen.
Green joined the race to save the administration-hit club last week with former bidders Bill Miller and the Blue Knights consortium withdrawing their bids.
Green will be in Scotland on Sunday to watch Rangers’ final SPL match of the season at St Johnstone.
