Griezmann set to stay at Barcelona

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Antoine Griezmann looks set to stay at Barcelona despite rumours indicating he could leave this summer.

The Frenchman hasn’t enjoyed the kind of start to life at the Nou Camp that he probably would’ve hoped for, but that hasn’t stopped him from getting his head down and working as hard as he possibly can to improve.

The belief now is that new manager Ronald Koeman is backing him to be one of his leading men next season, despite the many ongoing changes that the club is experiencing.

Griezmann is still considered by many to be one of the most exciting forwards in world football and while he hasn’t always shown that on a consistent basis at Barca, perhaps this reshuffle of the club is exactly what he needs.

If nothing else, the fact that Lionel Messi is staying in Catalonia should help him get ready for the season ahead.
