According to a recent report from Sport, Antoine Griezmann reportedly wants to leave the club – and Manchester United could be the team to benefit from that decision. The 27 year old, who seemed to commit his future to Atletico last season, has always been an unpredictable player. We mean that in the sense of his ability on the pitch, as well as his decision making off it. The Red Devils, on the other hand, have always been big admirers of the Frenchman, and it now seems like just a matter of time before they pull the trigger on an official offer.
United have made an approach for the forward in the past, but now seems like the perfect opportunity for them to strike. Barcelona are reportedly no longer interested in acquiring his services, and given that most teams won’t be interested in making a move until the summer, they could push themselves to the front of the queue with an early approach.
