Griezmann to stay at Barcelona next season?

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Barcelona have informed Antoine Griezmann that he will still be a vital member of the first team squad next season. There has been a great deal of speculation over the future of the Frenchman in the last few months, with some believing that he could be used in a deal to bring Neymar back to the Nou Camp from Paris Saint-Germain.

Alas, given how much effort Barca put into bringing him over to the club in the first place, it almost certainly wouldn’t make any sense to ship him off again so soon.

Griezmann clearly has the potential to be one of the best players in Spanish football, and world football for that matter, but right now, it’s all about momentum.

If he can string together a few great performances, then all of a sudden, the talk of him leaving could quickly disappear.
