Argentine defender Leandro Grimi, loaned by AC Milan to Sporting Libson in January, has signed a five-year contract worth 2.5 million euros (3.9 million dollars) with the Portuguese club.
“From today the club will have sole sporting rights on the player,” Sporting said on their website Wednesday.
The 23-year-old started his career in 2004 with Argentine clubs Huracan and Racing Club before being recruited by AC Milan in 2006 followed by Siena at the start of last season.
