Chinese football clubs continue their push for Europe’s best players as the January transfer window approaches.
Following the departure of Chelsea midfielder Oscar, another high-profile player could be in line for a mega-money transfer to China.
According to reports from the Spanish news outlet AS, Barcelona playmaker Arda Turan is once again on the radar of Guangzhou Evergrande, who have already tabled a €50 million offer for the Turkish international.
The Chinese side have already attempted to sign the 29-year-old, but Barcelona reject he approach claiming Turan was an important player for the Catalan team.
It is believed that the Spanish champions are likely to submit a similar response this time as well since Arda Turan has been enjoying a fine spell at Camp Nou this term.
With ten goals to his name in all competitions, Arda Turan is Barcelona’s third top scorer behind Luis Suarez and Messi.
