Guberti happy at Sampdoria

Roma midfielder Stefano Guberti’s agent insists his client is happy on loan at Sampdoria.

Guberti will stay on loan at Sampdoria until the end of the season and reports have suggested that the move could be made permanent.

“He has already scored a great goal, and to think he shouldn’t have played because of a small injury,” Claudio De Nicola told Romagiallorossa. “He has an excellent rapport with Del Neri.

“We are glad to have chosen Sampdoria, and will return to Roma with more experience on his shoulders. Before transferring himself here to Samp, we had spoken to Del Neri, as he had expressed his wishes to have the player.

“Overall, it has been – and will continue to be – a positive experience for my client. He has received phone calls and text message from his Roma team-mates, congratulating him on his goal.

“Stefano ultimately wants to play more football, and with more continutity than what he was receiving at Roma.”
