Manchester United and PSG this season seem very connected. First, it was the two clubs meeting in Champions League round of 16, then it was the French club making a big move for the Devils’ central midfielder and now the English giants could be returning the favour with signing one of PSG’s unfulfilled January wishes.
Everton midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye is Manchester United’s preferred target to replace Ander Herrera this summer. According to the Evening Standard, Herrera was previously mentioned to be in talks with the champions of France, regarding a summer move as his contract at Manchester United is running out. He will leave the club on free and Man United will need to find replacement for the Spaniard.
That is where Gueye enters the frame. Last January, Everton midfielder was heavily linked with PSG and almost signed by the club, but Everton did not allow for the transfer to happen. Now Man United could be coming for him and Gueye could be very reluctant to agree to stay at Goodison Park for much longer.
