Sevilla defender Guilherme Arana is set to leave the Andalusian club in January after failing to break into the first team with Los Rojiblancos this season.
The 21-year-old full-back joined Sevilla in January 2018 from Corinthians but only made 11 La Liga appearances in a year’s time and is understandably looking for a way out.
Having been unable to dislodge Sergio Ascudero from the first team, Arana is now eyeing a return to his former club.
Speaking to Marca earlier this week, Sevilla director of football Joaquin Caparros hinted Arana could be well on their way out of the club.
“Sevilla bet on him but there are days left in the transfer window and we will see what is best for the team and the player”
In addition to Corinthians, another Brazilian club – Santos – are said to be in the running for Guilherme Arana.
And with Sevilla already working on a deal to bring Alberto Moreno back from Liverpool, Arana’s days with the La Liga side appear to be numbered.
