Guingamp star linked with Premiership switch

French daily newspaper L’Equipe understands that Guingamp striker Claudio Beauvue is widely expected to move to English Premier League at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old footballer has been one of the revelations of this year’s Ligue 1 campaign, having bagged 11 goals in 28 league appearances.

And despite signing a new deal until June 2017 last summer, Beauvue has an agreement with the club chiefs to leave at the end of the season in case of a good offer.

According to L’Equipe, Borussia Dortmund, Marseille and Lyon are all casting admiring glances his way, although the player himself would prefer a switch to English Premier League.

And it looks as though his wish will come true seeing as both Everton and West Ham are showing interest in his services.

Having paid mere €300,000 for the striker back in 2012, Guingamp are expected to earn a nice profit next summer.
