FC Porto are keeping close tabs on Racing de Avellaneda striker Gustavo Bou, Radio Cadena ECO has suggested.
The Dragons are preparing for life without Jackson Martinez and are currently looking at a number of centre forwards.
According to the latest reports, Gustavo Bou has emerged as the latest target following some impressive displays in Copa Libertadores.
The 25-year-old established a great partnership with veteran striker Diego Milito and has been especially impressive in South America’s elite competition.
While bagging four goals in twelve league appearances, Bou scored impressive 8 goals in 10 Copa Libertadores matches, although he couldn’t help the Argentine giants progress to the semi-finals.
The talented forward is now being linked with a summer move to Europe, with Ligue 1 side Nantes also keen on his services.
Gustavo Bou had started his career with River Plate and also represented Olimpo, LDU Quito and Gimnasia La Plata before joining Racing.
