Guti coy on Atletico Madrid link

Former Real Madrid star Jose Maria Guti has failed to rule out a move to Atletico Madrid.

The veteran midfielder is currently a free agent after being released from his contract at Besiktas.

Atletico Madrid are the latest club to have shown interest in the 35-year-old, but Guti is unsure whether a move to Vicente Calderon would be good for him.

“What is most important is to be close to my children and to be able to play at a good level and with plenty of playing time,” Guti told Cadena SER.

“It would be complicated to play for Atletico. What is sure is that I want to continue playing. Money is not so important in all of this.”
