Guti hints at Asia move

Former Real Madrid star Jose Maria Guti has revealed that he wants to continue playing in Asia.

The veteran midfielder has been a free agent since being released from his contract at Besiktas few weeks ago.

Even though some media reports suggested that Guti could decide to retire from football, the player has denied such claims.

“I want to make it clear that I will not play again in Spain or in Europe,” Guti wrote on his Twitter account.

“There is only one chance for me to continue playing and that is in an Asian country, which is what I want to do. It appeals to me to go and live in Asia and experience new cultures.”
