Roberto Carlos declared earlier this week he would love to return to Real Madrid. The Fenerbahce defender even said he would play for free for his beloved club.
Real midfielder Guti would love to see his former colleague return to the Santiago Bernabeu.
`Roberto is a great left sided player. I’d welcome him with open arms. We would be delighted if he comes, but it’s up to the club,` Guti told AS.
After the loss against Sevilla (2-1) there were a lot of critics for Marcelo. The Brazilian back had a tough night defending his opponent Jesus Navas, who made the first goal.
Marcelo is considered as the weakest link at Madrid and manager Manuel Pellegrini doesn`t have a better alternative for him.
Royston Drenthe can also play at the troubled position but he hasn`t convinced the crowd at the Bernabeu since he joined the club in 2007.
