Benoit Tremoulinas hints at Bordeaux exit
Benoit Tremoulinas could be leaving Stade Chaban-Delmas this summer. Bordeaux left-back is on Bayern’s wish list.
During the last two years, Benoit Tremoulinas established himself as the best left-back in French Ligue 1 and no wonder the big European clubs are after him. The Frenchman could leave the club in search for Champions League football.
Tremoulinas said: “I think the problem here is that we will not play in the Champions League. In order to have a proper development, it is nice to play in European competitions.
“The group and the key players are still here, but we will soon have to know who stays and who goes. I need to know the ambitions of the club. I heard the president say recruiting a striker is not a priority. We will see what happens…”
It looks as though the young defender is far from happy with not being able to play Champions League football and Bayern Munich could easily use the current situation at Bordeaux to solve their vulnerable left-back position.
In the absence of better solution, Holger Badstuber was forced to cover the position last season but being essentially a centre-back he could provide little help in attack, which is exactly where Tremoulinas would offer Bayern a new dimension. Attacking runs and excellent crosses are something that the Bordeaux player is known for and I have no doubts his attacking qualities would be very appreciated at Alainz Arena.

Besiktas on the verge of signing Guti
Having been deemed surplus to requirements at Real Madrid, Guti is looking for a new challenge and Besiktas look like the favourites to sign him at the moment.
The Spanish playmaker wants €2.5 million per season and even though the Turkish club don’t have the means to pay him that much, Besiktas president Yildirim Demiroren is willing to pay Guti from his own pocket.
The midfielder has become disillusioned with life at Santiago Bernabeu after mostly warming the bench over the last few years and the move to Turkish giants could finally see him become a first team regular.
The transfer looks set to be completed in the matter of hours, with Real entitled to around €3 million for the 33-year-old midfielder. We haven’t seen too much of Guti over the last few years and the move to Besiktas will show if he still has what it takes to play at the highest level.

HSV sign Dennis Diekmeier
Bundesliga outfit Hamburg announced the signing of Germany Under-21 international Dennis Diekmeier from Nurnberg.
After passing a medical, the right-back will sign a four-year contract, with Nurnberg set to earn €2.2 million.
Diekmeier is widely regarded as one of the fastest players in Bundesliga and Hamburg coach Armin Veh agrees:
“We’re very glad to be bringing Dennis here. He’s one of the top right-sided talents in Germany, and there are very few players who can match his turn of pace. He’s also able to cross accurately while moving at speed.”
Diekmeier was on the verge of joining Bologna but he thought that staying in Bundesliga would aid his development and that was one of the reasons for choosing Hamburg.
After seeing Jerome Boateng leave for Manchester City, HSV acted quickly by bringing one of the brightest talents in Germany as a replacement and I am sure Hamburg fans won’t be disappointed with what Diekmeier has to show.
