Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan believes he has more to offer his club in the upcoming English Premier League season.
Gyan, 25, joined Sunderland from Rennes for a fee of approximately 13 million pounds after a stellar 2010 FIFA World Cup for Ghana.
He made an immediate impact for the club, scoring on debut, and although he netted 10 league goals from 31 appearances, the forward said there is much more to come.
“I’ll definitely be a better player next season,” Gyan said.
“As I said before I came here, it was my dream to play in the English Premier League. I feel I have established myself now, but there is more to come.”
“The fans love me which is really important. When the people are behind you, you keep going and I hope to do more.”
“It depends on me keeping working hard. There are some seasons where things don’t go well, but that doesn’t mean you are a bad player.”
