According to a recent report from Sky Sport, Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland isn’t focusing on rumours linking him with a move away from Germany.
“I focus on this, not on the attention that is towards me,” he told Sky Sport. “I think about doing my job, which is the thing I love most. My focus is on this.”
The teenage sensation has scored 12 goals in 11 games for Dortmund ever since his big move back in January, and yet despite the Bundesliga giants still being in the midst of their honeymoon period with the Norwegian, Real Madrid are still trying to poach him from under their noses.
Right now, Haaland is showing the kind of maturity he needs as he emphasises that the focus needs to be what he does on the pitch. Whether or not that changes if and when the summer window opens, though, remains to be seen.
