Erling Braut Haaland has been the target of numerous European clubs this season. After his impressive start to the campaign, the clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus have started paying attention and the Norwegian striker has been doing remarkable things. On Tuesday he scored once again in the Champions League, which was his seventh goal in the competition in just four matches.
Now there are reports stating that his club Red Bull Salzburg have set a €100m asking price. That is not too bad for a 19-year-old. Tuttosport are also reporting that the record-breaking attacker – he scored in each of his first four Champions League matches setting a record with seven goals, and he also scored a hat-trick on his debut in the competition – and a bidding war for the teenager could start.
The European giants will have to pay a huge price, as the Austrians won’t let him go for less than €100m. Right now, that does not seem a ludicrous proposition.
