RB Salzburg striker Erling Haaland has become an absolute sensation this season, with his incredible 23 goals in 17 games in all competitions so far. Naturally, such form cannot be missed by big clubs around Europe, and given all the recent reports on his potential suitors, it seemed for a while that a six-fold battle for his signature was going to start involving Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.
However, Sky Sports claim they have information that the 19-year-old forward is currently considering a proposal which, if accepted, would see him remain affiliated with Red Bull by switching to RB Leipzig.
The Bundesliga side have been on a good path in recent seasons, helping several players develop to very high levels. In the near future, they might be parting ways with striker Timo Werner, with the Germany international linked to a host of clubs as well, and Haaland might be considered as the perfect replacement.
