“At one stage he would like to play in the Premier League, but when that will happen I don’t know. It is a very tough league.
“Up to now he is ahead of the stage we thought he would be at. He is built for the Premier League, but whether that will happen now or at a later stage, we don’t know.
“He is at Salzburg – a fantastic club playing Champions League – so in a way he is in no hurry.”
Those are the words of Erling Haaland’s father Alf-Ing who has made it clear that his son would be interested in a switch to the Premier League at some point during his career.
Manchester United are well known to be interested in the possibility of bringing the young Norwegian over to Old Trafford, but whether or not that actually becomes a reality remains to be seen.
For the time being he seems to be fairly happy with Salzburg, but again, money can change a lot of things.
