According to a recent report from Marca, Achraf Hakimi will indeed get his chance to shine with Real Madrid once he returns from his two year loan spell with Borussia Dortmund. The move is set to officially come to an end during the summer transfer window, with the belief being that he will be brought back into Zinedine Zidane’s first team squad as opposed to being shipped back off again.
Nobody really knew one way or another what the future of the youngster was going to be, with some wondering whether or not Dortmund would make a move to bring him over on a more permanent basis.
The competition for places at the Santiago Bernabeu has been well noted, and with Zidane planning on going after a series of big names during the next few transfer windows, it’ll be intriguing to see whether or not they end up sticking to this idea.
