Around 10000 fans were in attendance at the Rudolf Harbig Stadion in Dresden as Dynamo beat Hamburger SV in the DFB-Pokal by 4-1. At the end of the game, Hamburg defender Toni Leistner was about to do an interview, and then he suddenly went up into the stands to physically confront a Dresden fan. He later said he was being insulted by that person.
Leistner was born in Dresden and Dynamo, for which he played from 2010 to 2014, have condemned the behaviour of their fan and have stated that they’re looking to identify him, not wishing to let the incident stand.
