Bundesliga outfit Hamburger SV have expressed interest in signing Real Madrid starlet Martin Odegaard, according to German media outlet Kicker.
The talented footballer has been playing for Real Madrid B in the third division, but he will need some top flight experience if he is to realise his full potential.
And with the youngster unlikely to get a chance to shine at Santiago Bernabeu next term, los Blancos are ready to farm him out on loan this summer.
German newspaper Kicker understands that Hamburg hope to lure Odegaard to Imtech Arena, with a season-long loan being mooted.
However, there are quite a few other clubs showing interest in the 17-year-old, who made a total of 31 league appearances for Real Madrid B this term.
Los Blancos obviously believe Odegaard can develop into a world-class footballer and they will only consider loan deals in the summer transfer window.
