Hamburg rule out van Nistelrooy sale

Hamburg sporting director, Bastian Reinhardt is adamant Ruud van Nistelrooy will not be sold, despite interest from Real Madrid.

Jose Mourinho has singled out the Dutch striker as one of the January transfer targets as he looks to add another proven striker to the side, but it looks as though the Portuguese will have to look elsewhere.

Hamburg sporting director, Bastian Reinhardt has ruled out a possibility of Ruud van Nistelrooy joining Real.

“We have not spoken to Ruud, I’ll do that after the training. Ruud is currently 100 percent at Hamburg.

”Real Madrid are not talking to us and our intention is to keep him until the end of his contract.

“We have no intention of letting him go, the player will definitely stay here.”
